Carlos Bocanegra and Saint Etienne venture down to the Mediterranean coast this weekend to take on AS Monaco on Sunday at Stade Louis II.

Bocanegra has started for Saint Etienne the last five matches since returning from a neck injury that sidelined him for a month.

The native of California also scored his first goal of the season in last week's splitting of the points with Bordeaux.

Saint Etienne continue to be plagued by the drawing bug having played their last four matches without a decisive winner.

Their nine match winless streak looked like it would be snapped last Sunday only to see Bordeaux tally a late equalizer sending Les Verts faithful home in complete disbelief.

AS Monaco have struggled this fall resulting in a meager 15 points which situates them just above the drop zone in Ligue 1.

The two-time UEFA Champions League finalists from the Principality have obtained only two points from their last five matches.

Chu-Young Park has been the lone bright spot on the squad with five goals on the campaign and will be a worry for Bocanegra and the rest of Saint Etienne head coach Christophe Galtier's defense.

Saint Etienne are still missing Yoann Andreu and Boubacar Snogo due to injury while Monaco will be without Cédric Mongongu and Vincent Muuratori because of a hamstring and thigh injury respectively.

I hate to be the harbinger of bad news, ladies and gentlemen, but Michael Orozco will start for the US men's national team in Jacksonville.
