MEGHAN BRENNAN - Wednesday, November 24, 2010
Hønefoss with Kenneth Di Vita Jensen and Steve Clark find themselves in a do-or-die situation as they enter their third and final playoff game Thursday at Nye Fredrikstad Stadion.

Clark is expected to watch from the sidelines while Di Vita Jensen will likely see some playing time in the midfield.

Hønefoss finished the 2010 season in 14th place requiring a three game playoff to stay in the Eliteserien. In the first of three games, a winner-take-all round against the 1. Division's fifth placed Ranheim, Hønefoss emerged with a 2-1 victory at AKA Arena on November 14th.

Last Sunday, however, game two did not have an equally happy ending as Hønefoss hosted the 1. Division's third place team, Fredrikstad, in an embarrassing 1-4 home defeat.

In order to stay in the Eliteserien, Hønefoss needs to win by more than three goals in Thursday's game which may prove impossible for a team that scored just 28 goals this season to their opponents' 62.

Both teams have healthy squad available to start Thursday.
