Eugene Starikov and FC Tom Tomsk travel down to the western shore of the Caspian Sea to do battle with Anzhi Makhachkala on Saturday at Dinamo Stadium in Makhachkala.
Starikov is set to make another start up front at forward for Tomsk who have just four matches remaining in their Russian Premier League season.
The on-loan striker from Zenit St. Petersburg has impressed head coach Valeri Nepomnyaschiy with his play and should be a mainstay in the starting 11 until the end of the season.
A win for the visitors will put enough padding between Tomsk and the relegation zone, thus ensuring a spot next year's RPL.
Newly-promoted Anzhi experienced some mild success earlier this season but lately they have spiraled downward in the standings.
Although they are still safe from relegation, their current winless streak consisting of six losses and one draw suggests that they will be fighting for their RPL lives by week 30.
Neither team is reporting any major injuries.
