DAVID SMITH - Wednesday, October 20, 2010
Benny Feilhaber and Aarhus continued their tear through the Danish First Division, with the American again finding the net as they blew past Fyn with an impressive four-goal performance.

The Whites had last taken the field just three days prior to thrash Hjørring, and showed no signs of fatigue in taking the lead just 12 minutes past the opening whistle.

Peter Graulund took advantage of poor passing between the Fyn defenders, nicking the ball on the run and firing it past Jonas Jensen to put Aarhus ahead.

Feilhaber added another goal to his season total, beating Jensen with a free kick 12 minutes later, in what would ultimately turn out to be the winning goal.

The Aarhus attack was simply too much for Fyn two minutes past the intermission, as a build-up by several players left Graulund with a clear lane to send a pass into Davit Devderiani, who shook off his defender before smashing the ball into the net.

They hit another time quickly, this time with Graulund again doing the honors, picking up a long pass behind the Fyn defenders and beating Jensen one-on-one before smoothly putting away his ninth goal of the season in the 54th minute.

Fyn did prevent the shut-out five minutes later when Mads Overgaard netted just inside the far post from a sharp angle, however that was all the damage they could do, with the hosts again coming up with a huge win.

The win takes Aarhus three points ahead of second-place Vejle.

They continue their busy schedule on Sunday when they visit Skive, then take another trip three days later when they head south to take on Varde IF in Danish Cup play.
