WOODY BAUM - Thursday, September 16, 2010
Americans face off when Jose Francisco Torres and Pachuca take on Edgar Castillo and San Luis while Sammy Ochoa and Estudiantes host Pumas.

Estudiantes – Pumas

Estudiantes will try to repeat their early success with new head coach Miguel Herrera when they host Pumas on Friday.

They are coming off a big win over Atlante last week and American Sammy Ochoa will look to retain his starting spot which he has done most of the Apertura.

He will be looking for his second goal of the season as Estudiantes try to pull further away from the relegation zone.

The hosts will face a Pumas team that continues to struggle to deal with the loss of stars Efrain Juarez and Pablo Barrera.

Mario Rodriguez is in doubt for Estudiantes while Pumas should have their entire roster available.

San Luis – Pachuca

Pachuca will continue its search for a win when it faces San Luis on Saturday, as it has continued to struggle since Guillermo Rivarola has left as head coach.

The Tuzos will have a good chance against San Luis who have also struggled this season.

The game will also see Americans face each other as Edgar Castillo, of San Luis, will face off against Jose Francisco Torres, Marco Vidal and Herculez Gomez.

Torres and Vidal are projected to start on Saturday. Vidal is coming off a strong performance on Saturday that saw him start and play 90 minutes for the first game of the season.

Gomez will also look to see time as he has consistently come on as a second half substitute.

Castillo will look to see the field after not dressing for the past several games.

Both teams should have their full lineups available.
