TRAFTON KENNEY - Friday, September 10, 2010
Saint Etienne hope to continue their solid start to the season when they travel to face league leaders Toulouse at the Stadium Muncipal on Saturday.

After a break from Ligue 1 action last weekend due to Euro 2012 qualifying, American defender Carlos Bocanegra is expected to start at left back.

Saint Etienne Coach Christophe Galtier is without Sylvain Marchal who is unavailable due to suspension. Moustapha Bayal is expected to deputize in central defense.

One player Bayal will not have to face is André-Pierre Gignac, the hulking striker who left Toulouse for Marseille in the Summer.

Toulouse coach Alain Casanova has obviously coped well so far with a perfect start to the season.

Daniel Braathen and Etienne Didot have shouldered the responsibility in the attacking third so far with five goals between them.

French international Moussa Sissoko is expected to return to the starting lineup for Toulouse after missing three weeks with a groin injury.

A win for Saint-Etienne would bring them within two points of Toulouse.
