The United States national team will play their second international friendly since the World Cup when they square off against Poland on October 9th at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois.

It will be the sixth time that the US team has played in the Windy City since 2004 including their memorable 2-1 triumph over Mexico in the final of the 2007 Gold Cup.

What is uncertain is whether or not current head coach Bob Bradley will still be at the helm of the team when the 2012 EuroCup co-hosts pay their visit.

Last week Bradley was rumored to be the leading candidate to assume the head coaching job at Aston Villa in the wake of Martin O'Neill's sudden resignation.

Bradley has publicly expressed a desire to one day coach in Europe but for now remains the coach of the US team.

The US and Poland have faced each other 16 times splitting 7-7-2 records.

Their most recent encounter was in March of 2008 when the US soundly defeated the Poles 3-0 in Krakow on the strength of goals from Carlos Bocanegra, Oguchi Onyewu and Eddie Lewis.
