Daniel Antunez and FC Inter picked up a big road win in Finnish Veikkausliiga action on Wednesday evening downing Haka at Tehtaan Kenttä in Valkeakoski.

Antunez started in defense and went the full distance in the win.

Coming into the match, Inter had found it difficult of late to score but netting three times against third place Haka will go a long ways to boosting their confidence.

The two teams played to a stalemate in the first half with neither squad conceding much on the defensive end but that would change just four minutes into the second half.

A long ball into the Haka area was gathered in by Inter's Kennedy Nwanganga who had outraced a Haka defender and then deftly chipped over the goalkeeper's head before nodding the ball into the net.

Eighteen minutes later, the crafty Nigerian was back at it again when he managed to sidestep and then split three defenders before depositing a shot inside the far post.

Niko Ikavalko halved the margin in the 80th minute when he headed home Antti Hynynen's cross to fire up the home fans.

However the visitors from Turku put the match away just five minutes later when Henri Lehtonen was waiting far post for a bouncing cross that he poked in just past the goalkeeper.

The hosts pleaded for an offsides call, but the linesman kept his flag down.

The resounding victory lifts Inter up to seventh in the league stands as Antunez and company next hit the road again on Sunday to face Europa League entrants MyPa.
