Nick Noble and Ljungskile battled to a draw with Charlie Davies' former club, Hammarby, on Wednesday evening at Söderstadion Stadion in Stockholm.

Noble started in goal and went the distance. The former Chicago Fire netminder did well to save several dangerous Hammarby scoring opportunities in the first half.

After halftime, the tide would turn in Ljungskile's favor when a Martin Smedberg free kick in the 57th minute deflected off the post and right to Johan Patriksson who slammed the ball into the back of the net.

The visitors almost doubled the margin minutes later but another Ljungskile shot glanced off the post.

A nervewracking final quarter hour finally saw the Hammarby attack get the best of Noble and company when David Johansson broke through in the 82nd minute for the equalizer.

A free kick was sent over across the area to Johansson who gathered in the ball and fired home just inside the right post.

It will be a quick turnaround for Noble and Ljungskile who return to action on Saturday versus Jönköpings Södra.

First off, I must admit, this is as much a plausible wish-list as it is an attempt to decipher Klinsmann's plan.
