Goalkeeper Steve Clark was injured in Honefoss' last minute win against Stabaek and Norwegian-American Mikkel Diskerud on Wednesday evening at Telenor Arena in Baerum.

For the first time in their Eliteserien debut season, when the whistle blew, Honefoss walked off the field with three points. Clark, however, was able to hobble at best.

Honefoss attacking midfielder Kenneth Di Vita Jensen watched this thriller from the bench.

A nagging quad injury took a turn for the worse on a first half goal kick and left Clark sidelined for the rest of the match. He was replaced by Thomas Solvoll who stopped several Stabaek chances in the first few minutes of the half to keep the game scoreless.

It wasn't until the 89th minute that Davy Angan, who has been scrutinized as of late for his inability to finish, scored the first and only goal of the game.

Angan beat defender Kristian Onstad at the top corner of the 18 and dribbled into the six yard box where he ripped a shot near post on keeper Jon Knudsen.

Knudsen got his right glove on the ball but gave up the rebound, leaving the net wide open for an Angan tap in.

He did so as one of ten Honefoss players on the field. In the 60th minute Aleksandr Dimitrijev was shown his second yellow for a spikes up tackle to Man of the Match, Espen Hoff.

While the first goal didn't come until the final minute of the game, the action started much earlier. The hosts kept up the offensive pressure creating more scoring opportunities, taking more shots and holding possession longer than the visitors. In the end, however, they were unable to finish.

Diskerud, who came in as a 40th minute sub for Pontus Farnerud, couldn't help Stabaek recover from, what some in the Norwegian media were calling, a "Honefoss robbery."

Honefoss will travel to Kristiansand to face IK Start's Hunter Freeman and Clarence Goodson, Sunday without Clark as Viking FK will host Stabaek.
