TRAFTON KENNEY - Friday, March 26, 2010
Helmond Sport travel to Rotterdam tonight to face fourth-place Excelsior in the hopes of putting last week's 1-0 loss to Go Ahead Eagles behind them.

American Charles Kaslauskas is expected to start on the right side of midfield as Helmond Sport try to move up the standings from eighth with just five games to play in the Jupiler League this season.

In their last meeting, Excelsior edged out Helmond Sport in a narrow 1-0 win with 24-year old midfielder and captain Ryan Koolwijk netting the winning goal.

Excelsior, a former satellite club for Dutch giants Feyenoord, will rely on Polish midfielder Michal Janota and 19-year old South African striker Kermit Erasmus in the attack, both players having combined for 18 goals this season.

Helmond Sport Coach Jurgen Streppel is still missing midfielders Daniël Guijo-Velasco and Bruno Fernandes de Brito through injury, although both players are expected to return next week.

After a strong start to 2010 - due in part to Kaslauskas' goal-scoring exploits - Helmond Sport have struggled recently, losing three of their last four games.
