PREVIEW: INDEPENDIENTE - ESTUDIANTES
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME

Michael Hoyos and Estudiantes de la Plata will face a tough Valentine's Day test when they head to Libertadores de America Stadium in Avellaneda on Sunday against always difficult Independiente.

Hoyos, who had a brief but quality cameo in last week's win against San Lorenzo, hopes to continue to ride the wave of his recent success and further solidify himself in the talented Estudiantes first team.

With the Copa Libertadores opener for Estudiantes tonight, Sunday should be a good weekend for Hoyos to find some more playing opportunities.

Though early in the season the match is extremely important as both these perennial Argentine powers find themselves near the top of the Clausura table not wanting to find themselves left behind.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
