Benny has left Derby County
Fresh from his Olympic adventure, Benny Feilhaber has joined fellow American Jeremiah White at Danish club AGF Aarhus.
The midfielder is now awaiting a Danish work permit and is expected to be on the field within a week.
"He has signed and is here in Aarhus," team spokesman Ole Hall told Yanks Abroad.
The Danish team does not foresee any work permit issues.
"There will be no problems with the permit; it takes about a week," Hall said. "His contract begins the 24th of August."
Feilhaber, who failed to make an impact with Derby County, making only ten appearances, was given permission to leave after the team was relegated to the Championship with the worst points total ever in English Premiership history.
The American is not allowed to train with the team until his work permit is issued, however Hall stated, "We'll have to see what the trainer thinks, but he may go right into the line-up."
"The Danish season is just underway, and Feilhaber may slot right into the line-up in midfield."
After five matches in the Danish season, AGF currently sit in seventh with six points.
