Former Viborg striker Joe Zewe is attempting a comeback, hooking up with German Regionalliga club SC Pfullendorf on trial.

"[Zewe] is here for a seven-day trial that was organized by his agent," head coach Michael Feichtenbeiner told YA. "I can't comment about his performance thus far, but he will be at SC Pfullendorf until Saturday."

SC Pfullendorf are currently 15th in the Regionalliga Süd, five points out of the race to finish in the top ten and into next season's 3. Bundesliga.

Zewe, was released by Viborg this summer after only four appearances after joining the club in July 2006.

The ex-Penn State striker, who scored 12 times in 2005 for Danish second division club B1909, also trialed with the Chicago Fire and Eintracht Braunschweig in August.
