DISKERUD HEADS TO SOUTH KOREA

Mix Diskerud's soccer odyssey has now taken him to the Far East as it was announced on Tuesday that Manchester City agreed to loan him to South Korea's Ulsan Hyundai.

The midfielder, who spent the past year-and-a-half in Sweden on loan with IFK Goteborg, joins the K-League team as they have already play following the World Cup.

The now 27-year-old started his professional career in Norway with Stabaek before moving to Rosenborg. Despite making inroads in Europe, he decided to move stateside and sign with the newly established MLS team New York City FC in January 2015.

However, after two seasons with the team, the Norwegian-American was released by NYCFC and moved to Goteborg.

In January 2018, Manchester City made the odd move by signing Diskerud, stressing that he would only train with their Elite Development Squad.

Now, the former US international will looking to help Ulsan move further up the K-League standings as they hope to solidify a spot in the Championship round.
