MIAZGA RETURNS TO VITESSE
EXTRA TIME
KENYA BROWN - Monday, July 31, 2017
Matt Miazga has had his playing future for the upcoming season sorted out as it was announced by English Premier League team Chelsea that he will return to Vitesse for another loan spell.

The news, which was announced last Friday, will see the New Jersey native continue his development with the Dutch Eredivisie team.

Miazga's was sent out on loan to the team near the end of the summer transfer window last season after countless rumors of him going to a host of teams such as Eintracht Frankfurt and Espanyol. However, everything seemed to work out for the American and Vitesse as he went on to play in 27 games and help them to win the Dutch Cup - the first piece of silverware for them to win in their 125-year history.

After coming off a successful CONCACAF Gold Cup campaign with the US national team, the 22-year-old will now look to help Vitesse reach further heights as they face a busy schedule with domestic league and cup games as well as venturing into this season's Europa League.
