LLETGET OUT 4-6 MONTHS AFTER INJURY
EXTRA TIME
KENYA BROWN - Thursday, March 30, 2017
Sebastian Lletget will be on the shelf between four to six months as he will undergo surgery on his injured left foot that he suffered in the United States' win over Honduras last Friday.

The 24-year-old midfielder was called into the team by head coach Bruce Arena and started in the game in San Jose, California, scoring the opening goal. However, his night would end early as he went down with the injury after a tackle from Honduran defender Ever Alvarado in the 13th minute.

Initial results from tests showed that Lletget's injury was not serious, but his club team, the Los Angeles Galaxy, later reported that he will undergo surgery for a Lisfranc injury.

The former West Ham United player will be missed by both teams as he works to recover from his injury.
