Christian Pulisic scored a goal as he helped Borussia Dortmund advance to the semifinals of the German Cup with a win over Sportfreunde Lotte.

Borussia Dortmund have booked a semifinal date with Bayern Munich as three second half goals pushed them to a win over Sportfreunde Lotte at the Osnatel Arena in Osnabrück.
Pulisic started the game for BVB and saw 82 minutes of action.
This game should have been played earlier, but it was postponed due poor field conditions because of a snow storm. Thus, the replay had to be move to nearby Osnabrück.
Credit had to given to the third division team as they were able to prevent Dortmund from scoring in the first half and a few minutes in the second. However, BVB would eventually break through to guarantee their passage to the next round.
Pulisic opened the scoring in the 57th minute when teammate Ousmane Dembele dribbled the ball towards the top of the area before laying it off to the onrushing Pulisic, and the 18-year-old put his shot between the legs of Lotte goalkeeper Benedikt Fernandez. It was Pulisic's third goal in four games.
Andre Schurrle added BVB's second in the 66th minute as he volleyed his shot into the back of the net following a pass from Raphael Guerreiro.
Marcel Schmelzer scored the last for the visitors in the 83rd minute with a long-range free kick.
Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich will meet in the semifinal on April 25.
