Matt Miazga will have his first chance to win silverware in Europe as he and Vitesse booked their place in the final of the Dutch Cup with a win over Sparta Rotterdam.

Sparta Rotterdam 1-2 Vitesse

Two goals from Lewis Baker helped Vitesse ensure their place in the final of the Dutch Cup as they overcame Sparta Rotterdam at the Sparta-Stadion Het Kasteel.

Matt Miazga started in defense for the team in the win.

Baker opened the scoring in the 13th minute when he unleashed a long-range effort that Sparta goalkeeper Roy Kortsmit could not stop.

The Chelsea loanee added his second of the night in the 73rd minute when he played a one-two pass with teammate Milot Rashica before firing in his shot from the edge of the area.

Sparta could not score a goal, but Vitesse helped to keep them in the game as Guram Kashia put one in his own goal to give the host a lifeline.

Vitesse will face either AZ Alkmaar or Cambuur in the final.
