BRANDON WIGGINS - Monday, August 18, 2014
Alejandro Bedoya was a second half substitute for FC Nantes as the club's road draw at FC Metz kept them undefeated through two games in Ligue 1 play.

Both goals came early in the match, with Nantes taking the initiative just three minutes after kickoff, when Jordan Veretout scored off of a set piece to give the team the early lead

Nine minutes later, a lapse in concentration led Papy Djilobodji to commit a foul in the area, allowing Yeni N'Gbakoto to fire Metz back into the game from the penalty spot.

From there the match remained fairly uneventful. Bedoya, who was left as a bench option after starting Nantes' season opener, came on in the 72nd minute but was not able to help Nantes get the win.

The result leaves Nantes in a flock of teams on four points just below the summit of the standings. Next up, Bedoya and Nantes will have a tough match this Sunday when they host Ligue 1 power AS Monaco.

First off, I must admit, this is as much a plausible wish-list as it is an attempt to decipher Klinsmann's plan.
