DAVID SMITH - Friday, August 8, 2014
Sebastien Ibeagha could see the field for his new team FC Fredericia at AB Copenhagen, while Mayowa Alli should be a bench option for Vendsyssel on their trip to Roskilde.
AB Copenhagen - FC Fredericia
Just days after joining neighboring team Fredericia on-loan from AC Horsens, Sebastien will likely make his debut on Sunday when they travel to the nation's capitol to face AB Copenhagen.
After picking up only a single point from their first two outings, the team will be looking to make a turnaround and take their first three points of the new season.
Fredericia did show some level of fortitude in their last outing one week before, overcoming an early goal by visiting Vejle to fight back for a late draw.
They are facing an AB Copenhagen team that has a similarly unspectacular start to the season, after a similar come-from-behind home draw against Vendsyssel FF last weekend also left them sitting on a single point through two games.
Fredericia are missing usual defensive starters Søren Jensen and Jacob Thychosen, the catalyst for bringing Ibeagha into the fold, as well as keeper Mads Markfoged all to injury. Additionally, they must now make their way through the season without top striker Thomas Mikkelsen, who was sold to Superligaen team Midtjylland on Friday.
AB will be without new arrival Thomas Wiil-Andersen, while the trio of Jonas Troest, Nichlas Rohde and Jannich Storch are all questionable due to injures that hampered them in last week's game.
Babajide Ogunbiyi is working his way back to fitness following knee surgery, and will not participate on Sunday when Viborg pay a visit to AGF Aarhus.
Mayowa Alli will likely be on the bench on Sunday when Vendsyssel FF host FC Roskilde.
