KYLE SCHNITZER - Friday, March 14, 2014
Besiktas hope to gain ground in the battle for second place with Galatasaray, as the Black Eagles travel to Rize to face relegation-bound Caykur Rizespor on Saturday.

After a late goal from Ersan Gulum helped Besiktas sneak past Eskisehirspor 1-0 on March 9, they currently sit in third place of the Super Lig table.

American Jermaine Jones played the first 61 minutes of the match before being substituted for Filip Holosko.

With a win against Caykur Rizespor, Besiktas could jump into second if Galatasaray loses on Friday.

Caykur Rizespor is in a different battle. They currently stand 16th with just 25 points, placing them in the bottom three of the standings. Caykur Rizespor is coming off a 2-1 victory against Antalyaspor.

The game is set for a 11 a.m. EST kick off from Yeni Sehir Stadium.
