BEDOYA, JOHANNSSON SET TO RETURN

With many Americans on the injured reserve list, Alejandro Bedoya and Aron Johannsson look to make a return this weekend for their respective clubs.

Both FC Nantes midfielder Bedoya and AZ Alkmaar forward Johannsson were dealing with thigh injuries and should return this weekend.

Johannsson was injured on February 4 in a win over Vitesse. In that game he scored his 21st goal across all competitions but left the game at halftime with a strained thigh. He missed Saturday's loss to Go Ahead Eagles but has been training nearly this entire weekend and should be ready to go for this Saturday's game against Utrecht.

Bedoya returned to training at FC Nantes on Wednesday after a thigh injury has kept him out of action since Nantes' loss to Sochaux on February 1. Nantes has not won in four Ligue 1 games and Bedoya will likely be back for Saturday's game against Nice.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
