American defender Sebastien Ibeagha's trial with Aalborg BK has now ended and he will remain in Denmark for a new trial with AC Horsens.

Ibeagha, 21, played in two friendlies with Aalborg and each were 2-0 wins. He won praises of the club's coach, Kent Nielsen, but despite the positive showing, he will not be offered a contract at this point in time.

"Sebastien did play in the two friendly matches and left a positive impression, however his trial with us has now ended, and he has not been signed to a contract at this point in time," Aalborg spokesman Martin Stigaard Skammelsen told YA on Tuesday

Aalborg BK are currently in the winter break of the Danish Superliga after a successful first half of the season where it sits in second place. With only 20 goals conceded through 18 games, Aalborg's defense is the second best in the Superliga.

The next step for Ibeagha will be a trial at AC Horsens which was one of the clubs Ibeagha played against in his trial at Aalborg. AC Horsens currently sit in second place of the second-tier Danish 1st division. The club is expected to be a strong contender for promotion to the Danish Superliga next season.
