BINGHAM TO TRAIN WITH COPENHAGEN
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
BRIAN SCIARETTA - Tuesday, November 5, 2013
San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper David Bingham is off to FC Copenhagen for an extended training stint that will run from November 7 through November 20.

"David will be training with FCK this month," a source close to the player told YA. "It is a big opportunity for him."

As a native of Castro Valley, California, Bingham played his college soccer at the University of California from 2008-2010 where he was named to the All-Pac-10 team in 2009. He signed a Generation Adidas contract with Major League Soccer in 2011 and was allocated to a team via a lottery since he signed after the draft. San Jose won his rights and he has played with the club ever since.

At San Jose he has not earned many minutes since he has served as backup to 37 year old Jon Busch.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
