Charles Kazlauskas scored the first of three late goals for Helmond to overturn a two goal second half deficit in order to secure three point against Jong Ajax.

Stanislav Lobotka scored the first goal for Jong Ajax, putting them up in the fifth minute. The score line didn't change until the 52nd minute when Danny Hoesen netted a beautiful shot for the visitors, making it 2-0.

Helmond left it late, but Kazlauskas was able to push his team back into the game in the 65th minute. The American defender finished off of a corner to cut the lead in half, and 13 minutes later Helmond's joint leading scorer Serhat Koc tied it up in the 78th minute after taking one touch to set up the equalizer.

Mark Janssen sealed the result for the hosts in the 84th minute, as the 21 year old cut the grass with a rocketed low shot just inside the goal post. With the win, Helmond move up to sixth place in the Eerste Divisie. Their next game comes on Friday when they take on Den Bosch.

The German regular season is finished, however a pair of American players still have work to do in the promotion/relegation playoffs.
