PREVIEW: RAPID - FC ADMIRA WACKER
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
RONNIE SHABAN - Friday, November 1, 2013
Terrence Boyd and Rapid Vienna look to build off of midweek derby win as they square off against bottom dwellers FC Admira Wacker Mödling this weekend.

Last Wednesday Boyd snatched a late winner against cross town rivals Austria Vienna.

In the 88th minute the American striker headed home a cross from Thomas Schrammelmusik. Boyd now leads his team in scoring this season with seven goals. The win lifted Rapid up to third place in the table.

FC Admira are currently in last place, with only three points on the season. The low total comes after an eight point deduction for violation of the license agreement, a decision that Admira will protest.

They are also coming off of a win in their previous match, a 2-0 victory over Strum Graz.

The last match between these two teams was also a 2-0 victory for FC Admira with a goal in each half. Boyd did not play in that match due to a shoulder injury.

Both teams will have fully fit squads going into Saturday's match.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
