Alejandro Bedoya and FC Nantes will visit Olympique Lyonnais in a Ligue 1 matchup this weekend.

Bedoya and Nantes have put together a couple of nice matches recently, as they have not lost a match since they faced Paris Saint-Germain in August.

Lyon, however, has not been able to muster a win in its past two matches, and will be looking to bounce back at home.

It should be a strong matchup between two teams that currently have seven points in the Ligue 1 table each, good enough to put both in the top half of the standings, an impressive feat for a Nantes team that was just promoted to the French top division this year.

Bedoya in particular has played well for the club, generally in the midfield. He has been a starter in each of Nantes' past three matches, and gone the full 90 minutes in two of them.

The American was instrumental in helping Nantes defeat FC Sochaux-Montbéliard last weekend with his accurate passing.

Coupled with Bedoya's recent appearances for the national team in World Cup qualifying, it has been a strong fall so far for Bedoya.

He will, however, have to be careful for Nantes this weekend as he is one of a few Nantes players with a yellow card.
