KLINSMANN MAKES ROSTER CHANGES
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
KRIS LINDSAY - Sunday, September 8, 2013
United States head coach Jürgen Klinsmann added four more players to the roster that will take on Mexico in Columbus Tuesday night.

Tijuana midfielder Joe Corona was called up to the squad, as well as the Houston Dynamo midfielder Brad Davis, San Jose defender Clarence Goodson, and Tigres midfielder Jose Torres. In addition, John Brooks was also released and will return to Hertha Berlin.

A myriad of yellow cards against Costa Rica means that the USA will be without defenders Geoff Cameron and Matt Besler, and without attacker Jozy Altidore. Michael Bradley, who was injured in warm-ups in preparation for the match against Costa Rica, was also replaced.

The United States have never lost to Mexico in Columbus, and have an opportunity to clinch a berth in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
