Josh Wicks started while Chuck Chijindu didn't make it off the bench in Thor's draw with Valur on Sunday.

Wicks continues his starting streak between the posts while the team's top scorer Chijindu surprisingly did not see any action at his normal forward spot.

Though on the road, Thor got on the board first thanks to a 37th minute goal from the red hot winger Mark Tubaek.

Valur responded early into the second half with defender Matarr Jobe putting one away in the 49th minute.

The visitors took the lead back only a minute later thanks to forward Johann Hannesson's 50th minute strike.

Once again Valur had its answer with forward Patrick Pedersen leveling the game in the 58th minute.

Despite a second yellow card to Valur's Danny Racchi in the 61st minute, Thor was unable to find a winning goal.

The draw brings Thor to 16 points from 17 games so far in the 2013 season. The club currently sits one spot and three points above the relegation zone with five matches left to play. Thor returns home to face Fram on Sunday. The visitors sit in seventh place yet are only two points ahead of the Akureyri club headed into the weekend.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
