OROZCO WITHDRAWS FROM USMNT CAMP

ANDY SCHREUR - Tuesday, August 13, 2013
Michael Orozco was dropped from the United States National Team's camp in Sarajevo ahead of Wednesday's friendly with Bosnia and Herzegovina with a thigh muscle strain.

Puebla FC have confirmed Orozco suffered a right hamstring sprain and will send the US defender for an MRI to rule out anything more serious.

Orozco played 89 minutes in Puebla's scoreless draw with league leading Veracruz on Sunday afternoon.

Orozco signed a new contract with Puebla immediately after lifting the Gold Cup with the USMNT in late July and has made two appearances since rejoining his club team. Orozco's Puebla teammate DaMarcus Beasley was left off the friendly roster and will remain with La Franja in preparation of this weekend's match.

Puebla's next match is on Sunday when they travel to Guadalajara to take on Chivas.
