Steve Clark and Hønefoss need a win over the second-place team in the Tippeligaen in order to get out of the relegation zone.

Strømsgodset IF Drammen - Hønefoss BK

Steve Clark and Hønefoss will try to end a five-match winless streak at Strømsgodset on Sunday.

Once again, the offense is the weakness for Hønefoss this season, with the Tippeligaen past the halfway mark in the season.

Hønefoss has the second-least goals scored total in the league, and during this five-match losing streak that has seen the team fall into the relegation playoff position, they have scored no more than one goal in a match.

On the opposite end of the standings, Strømsgodset has struggled as of late as well. Godset has lost three of its last four matches, which has dropped the team from first to second place in the Norwegian top division.

Strømsgodset will likely be without midfielder Gustav Wikheim due to injury and Bismark Adjei-Boateng due to yellow card accumulation.

Hønefoss is not reporting any significant injuries.

Notes

Mikkel Diskerud will be unavailable for Rosenborg's match at Brann on Sunday, as he is still with the United States national team for the Gold Cup.

Josh Gatt has undergone season-ending knee surgery, and will miss Molde's visit to Lillestrøm SK on Saturday.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
