U.S national team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann today announced his roster for the 2013 Gold Cup this summer.

The big story is that Landon Donovan has been included and he will rejoin the team for the first time since August. The all-time leading scorer currently has 144 caps, 49 goals, and 48 assists. He has the potential this summer to become the first ever player on record with 150 caps, 50 goals, and 50 assists.

Also on this roster is Philadelphia Union forward Jack McInerney who is currently tied for the MLS scoring lead. The 20 year old Georgia native has never been capped by the US team.

The U.S team will host Guatelmala in a friendly on July 5 in San Diego. It will open up group play for the Gold Cup on July 9 against Belize followed by games against Cuba and Costa Rica.
