EXTRA TIME
KRIS LINDSAY - Tuesday, June 4, 2013
The draw for the 2013-14 Concacaf Champions League has been made, with five teams from Major League Soccer drawn in.

The Houston Dynamo highlight Group A, with Panamanian side Arabe Unido and Trinidad and Tobago club W Connection.

Sporting Kansas City, courtesy of the US Open Cup, enter the tournament in Group B with Olimpia and Real Estelí from Honduras and Nicaragua respectively.

The San Jose Earthquakes, winners of the 2012 MLS Supporters Shield, were drawn into Group 5 with the Canadian Champion Montreal Impact, and the winner of the Guatemala tournament which is still yet to be determined.

The back to back MLS Champion LA Galaxy head the final group, with Isidro Metapán from El Salvador and Cartaginés from Costa Rica.

The original draw was scrapped, due to the fact that the Dynamo and Mexican Champion Tijuana were originally pooled together, as well as the LA Galaxy and Mexico City side Cruz Azul.

Scheduling for group play will be released later this month.
