JOHN KRETLOW - Monday, April 1, 2013
Stuart Holden hopes to feature in Sheffield Wednesday's road match against Bristol City, while Frank Simek's Carlisle United visits Sheffield United in League One action.

Bristol City - Sheffield Wednesday

Stuart Holden looks to help Sheffield Wednesday in their relegation zone battle against Bristol City.

Holden made his debut for the Owls in their win over Barnsley, and could see time in Monday's clash.

Wednesday is currently just a point above the bottom three, but the Owls have struck some momentum as they have won two out of their last three games.

Bristol City however have lost two straight games and are at the bottom of the Championship standings. They are six points from safety with games dwindling in the season.

Lewis Buxton is suspended and will not feature for Wednesday, while Michail Antonio is out for the season for the Owls.

Bristol City will miss Ryan Taylor and Jon Stead because of injuries.

Sheffield United - Carlisle United

Frank Simek is expected to feature in Carlisle United's road game with Sheffield United.

The Cumbrians are coming off a draw against Shrewsbury Town and they have won just once in their last ten games. They are a comfortable seven points above the danger zone, but they will nonetheless look for the three points on Monday.

United beat Tranmere this weekend and looks to keep the momentum going with another victory against Carlisle. Sheffield is currently in a playoff position, but they trail AFC Bouremouth by just two points for an automatic promotion position.

Jamie Murphy is questionable to feature for United, while Matty Robson is an injury scratch for the Cumbrians.

Zak Whitbread hopes for playing time in Leicester City's game against Barnsley.

Jonathan Spector and Birmingham City play Wolverhampton. Will Packwood is out for the season for the Blues.

Conor Doyle is expected to make the game day roster in Derby County's game with Leeds United.

Seb Hines could see the field in Middlesbrough's match with Peterborough United.

Tim Ream is not likely to see time in Bolton's game against Huddersfield Town.

Mike Grella's Scunthorpe United's squad takes on AFC Bournemouth in League One action.

Jon Paul Pittman's Oxford United play Aldershot Town in League Two play.
