BRIAN SCIARETTA - Wednesday, March 27, 2013
After missing nearly four weeks with broken facial bones, U.S international Edgar Castillo is set to return this weekend for Club Tijuana.

Castillo, 26, suffered the injury to his face in the first half of Tijuana's 1-0 loss to Atlas on March 2. Surprisingly, the New Mexico native continued playing the entire game with the broken bones in his face.

"Edgar Castillo has been training with the first team for the past eight days and should be good to go this weekend," Castillo's agent Eddie Rock told YA on Wednesday. "He's been fitted for a protective facemask and has been experiencing no difficulties with it."

Castillo's return is welcome news for Tijuana, the reigning Liga Mx Apetura champions. The club has not won a Liga Mx game since February 23 and its last win in all competitions was against Corinthians in a pivotal Copa Libertadores game on March 6.

In the Liga Mx Clausura, Tijuana currently sits in seventh place and will take on Toluca on Saturday. The club returns to Libertadores action on Wednesday, April 4 with a visit to Bolivia's San Jose.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
