Cory Gibbs continued the comeback route with 90 minutes in a Young ADO road victory, while Michael Bradley went the distance in a Young Heerenveen defeat.

Jong Heerenveen 0-2 Jong Ajax

Holland international Ryan Babel and Vernon Anita scored for the rude guests as the Frisians suffered an Abe Lenstra raid from Young Ajax.

Former MetroStar Michael Bradley held down his place in midfield for 90 minutes.

Young Heerenveen remain fourth in the Beloftencompetitie despite their second consecutive loss.

The team will move on to host first place Young AZ Alkmaar on Sunday at the more intimate Sportpark Skoatterwald.

Jong Veendam 0-1 Jong ADO Den Haag

US defender Cory Gibbs worked from start to finish for the first time since last spring as Young ADO claimed a 1-0 win at Veendam.

The visitors walked away with the points thanks to a first half Jergo Leydekkers strike, and now top the Beloften Eerste Divsie A standings by two points.

The club next travel to Young Emmen in seven days' time.

Notes

Lee Nguyen and Young PSV Eindhoven saw their match with FC Twente counterparts postponed. The relegation strugglers next tackle Young Willem II on the 28th.
