Findley hopes to play soon at Forest.
As Robbie Findley begins his work permit appeal process today so that he can officially join Nottingham Forest, the club's coach has admitted that he wants to bring in more Americans.

Forest coach Billy Davies, 46, told The Nottingham Post that he will target American soccer players for future signings after signing Findley and missing out on Stuart Holden.

Corea after scoring versus Costa Rica
Former US Under-17 international Dustin Corea is caught in the center of a fight that has jeopardized soccer in El Salvador.

Corea, 18, is both an American and El Salvadorian citizen who previously played for the US U-17 national team in U-17 World Cup qualifying. On April 25, 2009 he took part in the US U-17s' 3-0 victory over Honduras when he came on as a second half substitute.

According to reports, English Premier League perennial power Arsenal are weighing the possibility of opening a major training academy in the United States that would focus on developing young American players to benefit the club.

English website express.co.uk released a report today that said that the plan has been initiated by American Arsenal director Stan Kroenke.

Dempsey may be reunited with Roy Hodgson
With the "silly season" less then a month away, the rumors in the British press have already started, and one is regarding American international Clint Dempsey.

Liverpool head honcho Roy Hodgson, who abandoned the Craven Cottage faithful for the brighter lights on Merseyside, seems to need help after Liverpool, who have become accustomed to top five finishes in the Premiership, have struggled to find goals. The Scousers have only scored 17 net-benders after 15 league games.

Jones is now with the Schalke reserves
American midfielder Jermaine Jones has been suspended from the first team along with defender Hans Sarpei and midfielder Alexander Baumjohann.

The three players will be training with Schalke's amateur team in the 4. Bundesliga until the winter break.
