Danny Barrera has made his professional debut this Saturday, coming on as a 90th minute substitute in Spartak Zlatibor Voda's win over Borac Čačak.

The 21 year old left UCSB to sign with the Serbian SuperLiga club at the end of the summer, but had yet to take the field in a senior team match.

Barrera was born in Colombia but moved to the United States when he was a young child. In the past he has represented US youth national teams at the U-17, U-18, and U-20 levels.

Spartak Zlatibor Voda have started the season well and currently sit in sixth place in Serbia.
