WOOD SIDELINED BY SURGERY
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
JAMIE HILL - Sunday, November 27, 2011
1860 Munich forward Bobby Wood will miss the rest of the fall after having surgery to repair damage to the meniscus of his right knee.

The 19 year old Hawaiian has struggled with injuries in 2011. He played hurt during the U-20 qualifying campaign in early April and then picked up knocks during the summer and earlier this fall.

In part due to his health issues, Wood has made just three brief 2.Bundesliga appearances this season and one in the DFB Pokal.

Wood hopes to return to training during 1860 Munich's training camp during Germany's winter break.
