Midfielder Daniel Stevens is the latest yank to join a team in Finland after signing a contract with Ykkonen club Kemi Kings.

Stevens had been pursuing opportunities with teams in Norway but was unable to secure a deal with a club.

His representative was then able to schedule a trial with the Kemi-based squad where the former University of Buffalo standout impressed in a friendly versus Veikkausliiga club RoPS earlier this week.

The 25 year old agreed to terms with Kemi on Friday and will bring a much-needed attacking mindset to the club that finished seventh last year in Finland's second flight.

Stevens spent last season playing with FC Buffalo in the National Premier Soccer League and has also served as an assistant coach at Niagra University.
