Club Career

After passing up a scholarship to play soccer at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Efford launched his professional career in Romania when he signed with FC Botosani in June 2014. His time with the team would be short-lived and he went on the hunt for a team.

Efford headed to Spain and in September 2014 he signed with RCD Mallorca after a two-week tryout. He would stay with the team for two seasons, playing a single game.

In September 2017, Efford was on the move again, this time to Greece where he earned a contract with Ergotelis in the third division. He would introduce himself to his new surroundings on October 25, 2017 when he scored his first goal in a 4-2 loss to Xanthi in the Greek Cup. On March 5, 2018, he would scored for the first time in league play when he bagged two goals in the team's 3-0 win over AO Chania−Kissamikos.

After a strong first season at Ergotelis, Efford would raise his game in the second season as he became on of the key players in the attack. He would go on to finish the 2018-2019 season as his team's top scorer with 11 goals.

On January 13, 2020, Efford would score his first professional hat-trick Ergotelis.

At the end of his contract, Efford would make the move to Belgium where he signed with Waasland-Beveren on July 20, 2020.
