Club Career

Lynden Gooch started his career at youth level in the United States with the Santa Cruz Breakers before heading to England where he joined the Sunderland youth academy.

His first foray into professional soccer started with a loan to Gateshead in February 2015 where he made seven appearances and scored one goal the team's 3-1 win over Wrexham. In August 2015, he would make his debut for Sunderland in a League Cup second round game against Exeter City.

In January 2016, Gooch was loaned for a month to League One side Doncaster Rovers, making his debut in a 0-0 tie with Fleetwood Town.

International Career

Gooch has made appearances for the United States Under-20 national team.

He has yet to make an appearance for the senior team.
