Club Career

Born in Austin, Texas, Sonny Guadarrama played one year at Campbell University before turning pro. After playing a couple of seasons with the Austin Lightning in the United States’ Premier Development League, he signed with Mexican side Santos Laguna. This was followed by a move to Merida.

In 2010, Guadarrama would sign with Atlante. He was then sent out on subsequent loans to Merida, followed by a season long loan to Necaxa.

In 2016, Guadarrama was sent out on yet another loan, this time to fellow Liga MX side Dorados.

International Career

Guadarrama has not represented the United States at any level.

David Wagner and Huddersfield Town are on the brink of history as they look to achieve promotion to the Premier League.
