Club Career

Prior to starting his professional career, Austin Guerrero played his college soccer at the University of Portland. Several MLS teams had interest in signing him, but he opted to try his luck in Mexico he felt his athletic style and shorter stature were more suitable down south.

Upon graduation in 2012, he joined the youth team of Mexican side Tigres UANL.

In December 2013, Guerrero would sign with Estudiantes de Altamira and appear in 21 games for the team in Ascenso MX. However, the team would dissolve after the 2015 Clausura tournament, leaving the goalkeeper without a team.

He would later go in to sign with Liga MX side Puebla.

The young soccer careers of Rubio Rubin and Brady Scott are headed in completely opposite directions.
