Club Career

After finishing his college career at Santa Clara University, Babajide Ogunbiyi was drafted by the New York Red Bulls in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft. However, he pursued opportunities in Europe. In April 2009, Ogunbiyi had an unsuccessful trial with English side Leeds United followed by another unsuccessful stint with Oldham Athletic in July 2009.

Ogunbiyi's fortunes would change when he was signed by Danish side Viborg FF in August 2010. In two and a half seasons with Viborg Babajide appeared in 53 matches for the team in total, scoring six goals.

In July 2012, Ogunbiyi would sign a contract with the New York Red Bulls, but he was released a month late.

Ogunbiyi returned to Denmark where he signed with Vendsyssel FF for the second half of the 2012-13 season. He then re-signed with Viborg ahead of the 2013-14 season. In December 2015, Viborg announced that they would not extend Ogunbiyi's contract. He went on to sign an 18-month deal with Danish Superliga club Hobro IK in January 2016.

The young soccer careers of Rubio Rubin and Brady Scott are headed in completely opposite directions.
