Club Career

Nungaray joined up with Monarcas Morelia's academy for the 2009-10 season, which he spent mostly with the U-17 team. In 2010, he was promoted to the U-20 squad, where he was a regular for two seasons, during which time he also made a brief cameo for Morelia's first team in the CONCACAF Champions League qualifiers.

In the 2012-13 season, Nungaray again began with the U-20 team, but was loaned out to Toros Neza of the Ascenso MX division.

International Career

The midfielder had some involvement with the US U-20 team during the 2011 cycle, but he did not make the team that competed in the CONCACAF qualifiers in Guatemala.

United States U20 and former UCSB keeper Justin vom Steeg has moved across the Atlantic to join 2nd Bundesliga club Fortuna Düsseldorf.
