Club Career

Alejandro Guido grew up in the San Diego area and emerged as one of the top youth talents in his age bracket. After a trial with Dutch Eredivisie side Vitesse, he began his career with a very short move across the border, signing a three year deal with Club Tijuana in early 2012, around his 18th birthday.

Guido began the 2012-13 season with Tijuana's U-20 team, but made his first team debut in the Copa Mexico in August.

International Career

Guido was a member of the 2011 US U-17 World Cup team.

He has been representing the US U-23 team as of late.

United States U20 and former UCSB keeper Justin vom Steeg has moved across the Atlantic to join 2nd Bundesliga club Fortuna Düsseldorf.
