Club Career

Garza's career path is unusual for an American. At the age of 13, he moved to Brazil where he joined São Paulo's youth team. Several years later, the left-footer returned to the US and continued his development with the Dallas Texans.

In the summer of 2008, Garza signed a youth contract with Sporting CP, one of the three giants of Portuguese soccer. In Sporting's academy, he was converted from a left midfielder to a left back.

Prior to the '10-11 season, Sporting declined to offer Garza a professional contract. The young defender promptly signed on with Estoril-Praia, where joined fellow Yanks Tony Taylor and Bryan Arguez.

In January 2012, Garza moved across the Atlantic, signing with Club Tijuana.

International Career

Garza has been active in US youth programs. He was a member of the 2007 U-17 World Cup squad and a member of the ill-fated 2011 U-20 team.

Bob Bradley and Le Havre won their French Ligue 2 game over the weekend to keep their promotion hopes alive.
