Club Career
Few American youth players rise to prominence as quickly as Conor Doyle. The former Dallas Texans forward was a largely unknown Creighton recruit when he was invited to trial with Derby County of the Championship. He made a strong impression and piqued Derby's interest. Armed with an Irish passport, which allowed him to circumvent work permit rules as an EU citizen, Doyle was signed in early August 2010 and immediately entered the first team picture, an outstanding accomplishment for an unheralded 18 year old.
During his first professional season, Doyle received sporadic playing time with Derby's first team.
International Career
Doyle was a member of the US U-20 team that competed in the 2011 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.
